The blade is blue steel with a beautiful uzu pattern.. The handle is Japanese magnolia with a water buffalo horn bolster. This knife is not stainless steel and must be cleaned and thoroughly dried after use to prevent staining. Note: The color of the bolster varies. A wooden knife cover is included.
