9.75” earthenware donabe made in Japan. Holds approximately 48.8 ounces. It is black with a white line and dots on the lid. Works best on a gas stove. Water or some type of liquid must be inside before you put this on heat otherwise the donabe could be damaged. You should let it cool down before washing with warm soap and water.
