Masamoto hon kasumi yanagi made in Japan. Masamoto has a long reputation as one of Japan's best knife makers. Yanagi  knives are used for thinly slicing fish, chicken or meat. The blade is white-1 carbon steel and is not stainless and must be cared for properly. It should be cleaned and dried after use to prevent staining. The handle is Japanese yew with a water buffalo horn bolster.  The blade is sharpened on one side making it for right handed users. Knife comes boxed.
